a GREASE TRAP……
Key Considersations when cleaning a GREASE TRAP
-
Grease Traps are located outside your premises. We like to service & clean them between 5am and 8am to ensure all odours have gone by the time you open your doors.
-
Regular cleaning ensures only water goes into the council sewer therefore avoiding costly and inconvenient blockages.
-
Both lids need to be removed to make sure the grease trap is entirely cleaned out.
-
Infrequent cleaning allows fat and sediment to build up and even block off the waste flow from your premise. Resulting in messy flooding in your premises and a health hazard.
or a DUX CONVERTOR……

Key Considersations when cleaning a DUX CONVERTOR

The smaller lid doesn’t need to be removed as it is only for inspection.
-
Infrequent cleaning allows fat and sediment to build up and even block off the waste flow. Resulting in messy flooding in your premises and a health hazard.
-
The larger lid which covers most of the top of the converter needs to be un-screwed and removed to clean out the converter properly.

Dux Convertors require a Dosing system to keep them working properly. Even with a Dosing system a converter needs regular cleaning to remove fats and sediments.
