Do you have any idea where your waste ends up?
Having a record of your waste not only helps you get peace of mind that your waste is being disposed of correctly but can also be very helpful for future budgeting.

At Bains we use a waste tracking system which is a historic database of all waste collected and a detailed list of where it was collected from. p_2.jpg

Tallow

How melting down unwanted product can TURN YOUR WASTE OIL/FATS INTO A REUSABLE RESOURCE!

Unwanted fat is an underutilised market and for years people who have been getting rid of it have been tipping $$$$ down the drain.

We have invested in upgrading our tallow plant and equipment to help our clients’ get a return on their waste. The tallow side of our business has numerous opportunities including fat and oil extraction from unwanted butchery fat, waste stock and other fat products.

So how does the process all work?

1) Used cooking fat from takeaway restaurants is normally tipped into large drums at the back of their premises. We collect this waste which is a combination of fat, water and any dregs (or leftover food).

2) Back at our Tallow factory we melt the unwanted fat in the drums down and take it up to high temperatures (about 100 degrees C). At this time we also filter it and remove any of the dregs.

3)
Once all the fat has been filtered it then gets run through a mechanical separator which takes
out the moisture and any fine particles.

4) After this the fat is cooled so it returns to a solid and is then stored and eventually exported offshore for products such as polishes, soaps, etc.

Contact Us to discuss if our fat and oil extraction factory is suitable for your businesses waste.
